Copying icons from an administrator desktop to a patron desktop

Use the steps below to copy files from the administrator desktop to the patron desktop. Keep in mind that this does not work for programs—only files and shortcuts. 

1. Sign in to the computer as an administrator.
2. Click Computer.
3. Navigate to the Users folder (C:\Users).
4. Open the administrator folder.
5. Open the desktop folder.
6. Copy the files you want from the administrator desktop.
7. ​Navigate to the patron folder.
8. Open the patron desktop folder.
9. Paste the files in the patron desktop contents list.
10. All of the selected icons from step 6 now show in the patron desktop folder.
