Android Family Tree app freezes when I try to use it

If you are trying to use the Android Family Tree app and it freezes on the tree launch screen, try uninstalling then reinstalling the app. If that does not seem to fix the problem, clear the data or storage:

Steps (mobile app)

  1. Uninstall and then install the app, but do not open it yet.
  2. Go to Settings on your mobile device.
  3. Find and Tap Apps.
  4. Find and tap Family Tree, and tap Clear Data or Clear Storage (depending on your device).
  5. Return to your home screen, launch the app, and sign in.
