Page Creation - Scenario 4
Searching for Content and Linking Subpages to Your Main Page
Step 1: Log into Brightspot. Using the search bar, look up the page, article, video, or other item by using key title words, such as LAO.
- On the left side of the screen, several filter options are available.
- For this scenario, the Any Content Type filter will be changed to Page.
- The Status will be adjusted to Draft and Published.
- All Locales is changed to Spanish.
- Note: These filter options may be adjusted according to the needs of your specific search.
Step 2: Select the page. On the main page, scroll down to the content section, and open List (Simple List – Flex) Untitled. From within the List module, open the promo you would like to change. In this example, Promo 1 will be opened.
Step 3: Open promo one and under Item, select Internal. Then under item, click the magnifying glass or a search button and search for the name of the subpage.
- Note: The links will only be functional if the subpages have gone through review and been published. Any pages saved as drafts will not work until the drafts are published.
Step 4: Use the default option for Target, same window, or tab.
- Note: Images and text may be changed to the Main page as needed. Refer to the previous scenarios to learn how to add images and text to the page.
- It is also recommended to add a title and image that relates with the linked subpage.
Step 5: Once the links to the subpages have been added, and adjustments to the content of the main page have been complete, be sure to save the page by clicking the save icon in the upper right-hand corner. Then send your page to the review workflow when you are finished updating the content.
