How to add text and images to a page in Brightspot.

Note: Before you begin, make sure to duplicate the template. Go to the upper right-hand corner of the template, and select the three dots. Then click Copy This Page. Remember to rename your page too.

Adding a Banner Image to your Page

Step 1: To add a banner image to the page, scroll down to the Image section.

  • Under Image, ensure that it says One-Off Image in the drop-down menu.

Step 2: Under File, use the drop-down menu and choose New Upload.

Step 3: Click the Choose button. A new window will appear.

Step 4: Click on the desired image and click Open. The image will be uploaded to the page.

Step 5: Click the Floppy Disc icon next to the blue Workflow button at the top, to save your work.

Change the Page Header Text

Step 1: To change the page header text, scroll down to the Content section of the page. You will see all the modules on your page in this section.

Step 2: Click on the top module labeled number 1 Rich Text: Rich Text Fullwidth. The module will expand.

Step 3: In the Rich Text editor box, change the text of the page header. Click on the gray bar labeled 1 Rich Text bar to collapse the module.

Step 4: Click the Floppy Disc icon next to the blue Workflow button at the top to save your work.

Change the Section Title Text

Step 1: To change the page section title, click on the second Rich Text module labeled 2 Rich Text: Rich Text Fullwidth. The module will expand.

Step 2: In the Rich Text editor box, change the text of the page section title. Click on the gray bar labeled 2 Rich Text to collapse the module.

Step 3: Click the Floppy Disc icon next to the blue Workflow button at the top to save your work.

Change the Page Content

Step 1: To change the page content, click on the third Rich Text module labeled 3 Rich Text: Rich Text Module. The module will expand.

Step 2: To change the image, click on the pencil icon. A new window will open.

Step 3: Ensure the Image drop-down menu says One-Off Image.

Step 4: Click the File drop-down menu and choose New Upload. Click the Choose button. A new window will appear.

Step 5: Click on the desired image and click Open. Then click the Save & Close button. The image will be uploaded to the page.

Step 6: To change the page text, enter the text into the Rich Text editor box.

Step 7: Click on the gray bar labeled 3 Rich Text to collapse the module.

Step 8: Click on the fourth Rich Text module labeled number 4 Rich Text: Rich Text Module.

  • The module will expand. Repeat steps 2 through 6 to change the image and content of the page.

Step 9: Click on the gray bar labeled 4 Rich Text to collapse the module.

Step 10: Click the Floppy Disc icon next to the blue Workflow button at the top to save your work.
