FamilySearch Community Sign In Error
An error may occur when signing in to the FamilySearch Community if there is no user email address associated with your FamilySearch account. The error is: Whoops! Unable to auto-connect because SSO did not provide an email address.
To correct this error, complete the following steps:
- Go to the FamilySearch website.
- In the upper-right corner of the page, click on your profile picture or name.
- From the drop-down menu, click Settings.
- Click Account.
- Click the pencil icon next to Password and Recovery.
- In the pop-up box, enter your email address into the Recovery Email box.
- Click Save.
- A verification email will be sent to the email address you entered. The email will instruct you to click a link to verify your email address.
- Once you have verified your email address, you should be able to log in to FamilySearch Community.
