"Reuse LSI" Authorization | Occasionally, a project may have several small folders with similar content. Instead of calibrating the LSI for each folder, request permission from your supervisor to reuse the LSI. The supervisor also provides a code that must be entered in this field. The code lets you do the LSI step every 2 hours instead of each time you start a new folder. | "Reuse LSI" Authorization |
“Left Right Capture” Authorization | If possible, the preferred solution for 2-page capture is to use double page capture with a 2-crop template. Sometimes project requirements, however, do not allow the use of a 2-crop template. An example of this is when capturing above a specific dpi. If project requirements specify the use of left and right capture, contact your supervisor to obtain the necessary password to enable this feature. These passwords are project specific and cannot be used to enable the feature on unauthorized projects. (See Selecting a Capture Mode). | For large, oversized books, you can capture all of the left pages, and then capture all of the right pages using the left and right page capture mode. Once the images are captured, DCam automatically assembles the images in the correct order. |
