At the Workstation in the Archive

If DMAP is not working properly, check each of these things while at the workstation:

  • Make sure the router light is on.
  • Make sure the phone is connected to the Wi-Fi network named DCam Computer.
  • Click Preferences and check each of the following:
    • In the DCam mode tab, ensure Mobile mode is selected.
    • On the operator tab, make sure that the DCam operator username and password have been entered correctly and that this listing is selected.

Outside the Archive with a Strong Internet Connection

If DMAP is not working properly, check each of these things while away from the archive at a location where a strong internet connection can be obtained:

  • Your cellular data is turned on.
  • You are logged in with the FamilySearch username that is designated as DCam operator.
