San Diego Genealogical Society
The objective of the Society is to promote interest in the fields of genealogy and family history research through individual and group efforts in cooperation with other like-minded organizations. The Society offers a variety of lectures, classes, and workshops including regular meetings at the San Diego FamilySearch Center.
Daughters of the American Revolution San Diego Chapter
The San Diego Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution was formed in 1910 and is the oldest chapter in the county. The group has collected over 1200 genealogical books which are on permanent loan to the San Diego Public Library.
San Diego African American Genealogical Research Group
The San Diego African American Genealogical Research Group (SDAAGRG) assists people in the San Diego area research African- American genealogy, create family tress, and conserve and document their personal history and share it with others.
Daughters of the Utah Pioneers San Diego Company
The Daughters of the Utah Pioneers was established to preserve the memories of the early settlers who came to Utah between 1847 and 1869. The San Diego Chapter holds monthly meeting at the San Diego FamilySearch Center.
San Diego Genealogical Society British Isles Special Interest Group
The S.D.G.S. British Isles Interest Group covers all countries in the British Isles, Ireland and Northern Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales. Attendees are encouraged to talk about their British trips. Facilitator Colin Whitney.

Daughters of the American Revolution Linares Chapter
The Linares Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution was formed in 1934 and formally named “Linares” in 1942. In 2008 the chapter merged with the San Miguel Chapter which was formed in 1928 and was the first county DAR unit outside San Diego.
United Daughters of the Confederacy - San Diego Chapter

Sons of Confederate Veterans - San Diego Camp
Sons of Confederate Veterans serves as a historical, patriotic, and non-political organization dedicated to ensuring that a true history of the 1861-1865 period is preserved. Membership in the S.
