The Orange County Center has volunteers with research expertise for these groups and countries: Germany, Sweden, Italy, the British Isles, and the United States. Staff spoken languages include Spanish and German.


Premium Websites
Many helpful resources are available through the computers at the center and include free use of subscription websites such as: • Ancestry • Fold3 • ArkivDigital • Geneanet • Findmypast • MyHeritage • The Genealogist • Irish Ancestors • British Newspaper Archive • NewspaperArchive • Newspapers.com • American Ancestors • 19th Century British Library Newspapers Additional specialized tools and collections—including Alexander Street Press (American Civil War), FamNet, Goldie May, Paper Trail, and Puzzilla (Premium)—are also available through the FamilySearch Center Portal.
Equipment Resources
The center has 24 state-of-the-art research computers and a room for classes and group meetings. We have equipment available for reservation to scan photos, books, slides, film negatives, and important documents. You can also digitize home movies on 8mm film rolls, VHS tapes, Hi8, DV (Digital Video) and mini DV's as well as audio cassettes and micro cassettes.
