Many helpful resources are available through the computers and include free use of subscription websites such as: 19th Century British Library Newspapers, Alexander Street Press - American Civil War, American Ancestors, Ancestry - Institution Version, ArkivDigital, British Newspaper Archive, FamNet, FindMyPast, Fold3, Geneanet, Goldie May, Irish Ancestors, MyHeritage - Library Edition, Newspaper Archive, Paper Trail, Puzzilla - Premium Services, and The Genealogist.

Equipment Resources

The center has the following equipment available for use without a reservation: -14 computers -Microfilm/Microfiche reader/scanner -1 Kodak Photo Scanner; scans both from flat bed and auto feed source. -1 Projector and a Screen for classes and training. -1 Discovery Center Interactive LCD -2 Lexmark Printers, black and white (Charge of $0.10 per page.) -1 Lexmark Copier/Printer/Scanner (Charge of $0.10 per page.)

The center has a variety of records and books available, including: -Patrons' Microfiche Collection -Indefinite Film Collection -Hawaiian Family Group Records Book Collection -Samoan Family Group Records -Smaller, but significant collections of Family Group Records from Tonga, Australia, New Zealand, China, Japan and Tahiti. -Laie Family Group Record Collections -Hawaiian State Obituaries -Hawaii Obituary Index 1968-1969 -Family Obituaries: Achi, Cole, Cooke, Hoog, Johnson -Various Hawaii censuses, including 1890 and 1910 -Various Hawaiian vital records -Various Tongan vital records (births and deaths from as early as 1857) Questions?
