Research Languages & Expertise
Any of our staff can help you learn to do your own research, but we also have some volunteers who can help with certain areas of expertise. Our staff has country expertise in: The U.K., Ireland, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Denmark, and Switzerland. We can show you where to learn about research in many other countries. Our staff has research expertise in: U.S. research for many states, Finding Living Relatives, DNA, Probate and Wills, Land Records, Newspapers, Cemeteries, Full Text Search and AI Tools, use of the Premium Family History Websites and Software, help with computers (PC and Mac), and use of mobile apps. Our staff has language skills in: English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, and Portuguese.


Equipment Resources
In addition to our 14 research computers, we have equipment for doing memory preservation, such as: - Photo & Document scanners - Slide & Negative Converters - Book Scanners - VHS Tape Converter - Audio Cassette Tape Converter - 8mm Film Converter Reservations are required for all scanning & digital equipment. Books and Other Printed Materials
A limited collection of hard copy material is offered at the Colorado Springs FamilySearch Center. Only basic research volumes are available at our Center. Others items CAN be ordered to review.
