Beginning Hispanic Research Webinar in English

Hispanic Webinar

If you are interested in Hispanic research but are English speaking, this new webinar is just for you. Join the Family History Library staff on June 21 at 3 pm for an online webinar geared toward beginning Hispanic researchers. Spanish versions of this webinar are also taught by the Family History Library. Interested researchers who speak only English requested that the webinar be rebroadcast in English. This is the perfect opportunity to learn how to help our Hispanic friends find success exploring their family history.

The webinar will teach:

  • Basic research methodology and applying it to Hispanic research
  • Successful search techniques using FamilySearch image collections and records
  • FamilySearch catalog and other finding aids
  • Language helps—reading and translation

The class will be taught simultaneously at the Family History Library. If you live near the Salt Lake City area, we invite you to come view the class in person to allow space online for those who live outside the area.
Date: Saturday, June 21st

Time: 3 pm Mountain Time
