Newsletter for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Bourland and Loving (and variant spellings) families who came mainly from Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. Some allied families came from Prussia and Switzerland. Focus is on (but not limited to) the Loving and Bourland families who intermarried, also on their descendants and allied families. In the 1700s, some settled in Delaware, New England, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. One ancestor, John Bourland left Northern Ireland to settle in Virginia, and later moved to North Carolina. In 1790, Ebenezer Bourland (d. 1842) of Virginia or South Carolina married Abigail Loving (1744-1866). Ebenezer and Abigail are buried in the Bourland Cemetery near Ozark, Arkansas. During the 1800s, some Bourlands moved to Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, the Indian Territory, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Missouri, and Texas. Later descendants also lived in New South Wales (Australia), Mexico, and in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Utah, Vermont, Washington, Wyoming, and elsewhere. Anniversaries, births, marriages, obituaries, and other information about contemporary members are included.

Alle Mikrofilme wurden bereits digitalisiert. Mikrofiches werden derzeit digitalisiert. Dies sind Gründe, warum Aufnahmen von Mikrofilmen oder Mikrofiches vielleicht noch nicht in digitaler Form auf FamilySearch.org verfügbar sind:

  • Das Scannen des Mikrofiches ist erst für einen zukünftigen Zeitpunkt geplant.
  • Der Mikrofilm oder Mikrofiche wurde möglicherweise bereits gescannt, doch unterliegt er einer vertraglichen, datenschutzrechtlichen oder sonstigen Zugriffsbeschränkung. FamilySearch scheut keine Mühen, den Zugriff zu ermöglichen. Dies ist jedoch von den Entscheidungen der Dokumentenverwalter und den geltenden Gesetzen abhängig.
  • Möglicherweise musst du in einem FamilySearch Center oder in der FamilySearch Library sein, um auf Digitalaufnahmen von Mikrofilmen und Mikrofiches zugreifen zu können. Manche erfordern vielleicht auch, dass du bei deinem FamilySearch-Account angemeldet bist.
