Newsletter for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Cooper (and variant spellings) families who came mainly from England, Germany, Holland, Ireland, Poland, and Prussia. Some allied families came from Norway. Some settled in Barbados, Bermuda, and Somers Island (West Indies), and in Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Long Island (New York), Rhode Island, and Virginia. In the 1700's, some settled in Delaware, Georgia, Kentucky, Maine, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Vermont. During the 1800's, some moved to Ontario and Upper Canada, and to Alabama, Arkansas, California, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Washington, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. Later descendants and relatives also lived in Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Nebraska, New Mexico, South Dakota, Texas, Washington, Washington D.C., and elsewhere. Some have Cherokee Indian bloodlines; and some have African American bloodlines.
