'Probate minutes of births' v. 1-5 are found under the title 'Birth records (unrecorded) Probate Court'. 'Probate court record of births' v. 6-7 are a continuation of the 'Probate minutes of births' only in a different style and found under the title 'Probate court of births'. In using the delayed birth records you must check all the volumes.

The following information will help in using the index: if the volume column references 1-8 it refers to the birth records, if it refers to C-1 or C-2 references this is the Bowie City birth records (not kept at this courthouse), "BVS" refers to birth certificates housed at the Bureau of Vital Statistics in Austin, references to PM-29 and PM-30 refer to the Probate minutes v. 29-30, references to PB-1 refer to Probate minutes of births v. 1.

Alle Mikrofilme wurden bereits digitalisiert. Mikrofiches werden derzeit digitalisiert. Dies sind Gründe, warum Aufnahmen von Mikrofilmen oder Mikrofiches vielleicht noch nicht in digitaler Form auf FamilySearch.org verfügbar sind:
- Das Scannen des Mikrofiches ist erst für einen zukünftigen Zeitpunkt geplant.
- Der Mikrofilm oder Mikrofiche wurde möglicherweise bereits gescannt, doch unterliegt er einer vertraglichen, datenschutzrechtlichen oder sonstigen Zugriffsbeschränkung. FamilySearch scheut keine Mühen, den Zugriff zu ermöglichen. Dies ist jedoch von den Entscheidungen der Dokumentenverwalter und den geltenden Gesetzen abhängig.
- Möglicherweise musst du in einem FamilySearch Center oder in der FamilySearch Library sein, um auf Digitalaufnahmen von Mikrofilmen und Mikrofiches zugreifen zu können. Manche erfordern vielleicht auch, dass du bei deinem FamilySearch-Account angemeldet bist.
