From June 1921 to Dec. 1924, Form 30A was used instead of large sheet passenger manifests. See records under title: Immigration Form 30A, ocean arrivals, 1919-1924.

The ships' passenger lists are also known as ships' manifests or seaport records of entry. .

The passenger lists for United States ports include only those names of passengers with intentions of proceeding directly to Canada.

Contains ships' passenger lists organized by port of arrival and then by date of arrival (some lists are not in strict chronological order). Between 1900 and 1922, if a ship's list for a particular date is split between two microfilm reels, the name of the ship is included in the film note in this record unless the lists for a ship were refilmed completely on the next reel. For the lists between 1925 and 1935, the volume and page numbers are given. The film note also includes the National Archives of Canada (NAC) film number.
