In the name of God Amen: This seventh daye of September in the yeare of our Lord God 1632 and in the eighth yeare of the Raigne of our Soveraigne Lord Kinge Charles, I Will(ia)m Norwood of Leckhampton in the Countie of Glouc(ester) Esq(uir)e, beinge weake in body but whole (I thanke God) in minde and memorye do make and ordaine this my last will and testam(en)t in forme followinge
First I bequeath my soule to Almightie God my onely maker trusting to be saved by the onely merritts death and passion of my Saviour and redeemer Jesus Christ to whom be all glory and praise for ever my body to the earth to be buried in Leckhampton Church,
Item: Concerning all my Leases goods and Chattells moveable and unmoveable whatsoever wherevere or any other in trust for my use or benefitt doe or doth seame poss(ess)ed of my will that the same shallbe implosed and disposed of in such mann(er) and to and for the same uses intents and purposes which are expressed lymited and appointed in and by one indenture bearing date the fowrth daye of this instant moneth of September made betweene me the said Will(ia)m Norwood on the one parte and Walter Blount of Soddington, and John Wylde of Droytwich in the County of Worc(ester) Esq(ui)r(e)s on the other parte,
And as for and concerninge all the rest and residue of my p(er)sonall estate rights and creditts and things in around I leave them to be to be disposed of by and according to the discretion of my Ex(ecu)tors hereafter named.
And of this my last Will and Testament I doe make and ordayne the said Walter Blount, and John Wylde my Executors. And Robert Throckmorton of Coulton in the Countye of War(wickshir)e and Richard Barkley of Ranscombe in the Countie of Glouc(ester) Esq(uir)es, overseers , desireinge theire my deare and loving friende, and kinsemen and each of them to whome it shall app(er)teyne to see all things well and duely p(er)formed accordinge to the severall trusts in them and every of them by me reposed.
And soe I bid them all and this wretched world adue Will(iam Norwood. Sealed signed published and declared in the pr(esen)ce of R. Moore, Charl(e)s Norwood, Josias: Allen, the marke of Will(ia)m Winter.

English Translation:
The above-written will was proved at London before the venerable man Master William Sames, Doctor of Laws, Surrogate of the venerable Lord Henry Marten, knight, also Doctor of Laws, Master Keeper or lawfully appointed Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury, on the last day of the month of May in the year of our Lord 1633, by the oaths of Walter Blount and John Wylde, the executors named in this will, to whom was granted administration of all and singular the goods, rights, and credits of the said deceased, having been sworn on the Holy Gospels to well and faithfully administer the same, in due form of law, etc.
