Newsletter for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Golding families who came mainly from England and Ireland, with some focus on (but not limited to) descendants of the Englishman, John Golding (born ca. 1640) and his sons John, William, and Richard. One of his descendants, William Golding (1704-1782) lived in Orange County (now Greene County), Virginia, and moved later to South Carolina. Other Golding (Golden, etc.) progenitors settled in Georgia, South Carolina and Virginia in the 1700's. During the 1800's, some migrated to Alabama, Arkansas, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma Territory, Tennessee, and Texas. Later descendants and relatives also lived in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Washington, and elsewhere.
