To use the County Court Minutes index: vol. designation "1" refers to a volume mistitled v. 1 County Court Minutes (correct title is County Court Civil and Probate Minutes); volume designation "1CM" refers to Criminal Minutes; volume designation "2", "2CM", "3", and "3 Crim." where the plaintiff is the State of Texas are usually references to Criminal Minutes; volume designation "2-5", "2C-P", and "3C-P" where the plaintiff is not the State of Texas refers to the County Court Civil and Probate Minutes; volume designation "5-6" refers to the County Court Civil and Probate Minutes; volume designation "7" can refer to the County Court Civil and Probate Minutes or the County Court Civil Minutes; volume designation "8-10" refer to County Court Civil Minutes.
