Wife of Charles Edward Orrell.Obituary from unknown newspaper, date or locationMrs. Charles Orrell Dies in St. Louis Mrs. Maggie Bertie Orrell, 68, of the Boulder area, died Saturday in a St. Louis hospital. She had been a patient there since Nov. 14. She was born in Eastfork township and was the daughter of James and Mattie (Smith) Lewis. She was married to Charles Orrell on July 24, 1909, in Carlyle. She was a member of the Sunlight Rebekah Lodge No. 796 of Keyesport and a member of the Island Chapel Ladies Aid. She had been a resident of the Boulder area all her life.Survivors include her husband Charles, two daughters, Mrs. Fern Cain of Patoka and Mrs. Mae Gambill of Route 1, Carlyle; one son, Charles Orrell of Sandoval; two brothers Virgil Lewis of Hills, Iowa, and Orvile Lewis of Centralia; two sister, Mrs. Corby Morris of Centralia and Mrs. May Padberg of Patoka; 16 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.Funeral services were held Monday at 1:30 p.m. from the Methodist Church in Boulder with the Rev. Buddy Johnson officiating. Burial was in the Clark Cemetery.
