Beulah Geneva Cantrell BENTON: Beulah Geneva Cantrell, age 75, of Benton, died at 2:18 p.m. Friday, June 17, 2000, at Franklin Hospital in Benton. Beulah was born in Hamilton County on Oct 29, 1914, to Clarence and Mary (Trammel) Holliday. She was married to Wright Cantrell. He died June 4, 1999. Beulah had lived in Benton since 1922 and was a member of the Benton Church of God. She is survived by two sons, Ronnie Cantrell and wife, of Marengo, Gary Cantrell and wife, of Benton; one grandson, Aaron Cantrell of Benton; two granddaughters, Kristen Jerkins of Beaufort, S.C. Sherrie Cantrell of Hanover Park; one great-grandson, Christopher Reyna of Hanover Park; one great-granddaughter, Lauren Reyna of Hanover Park; a sister-in-law, Kay Holliday of Madison, Ind. Beulah was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, Lucy Galbraith and Lula Cantrell, and by one brother, Coy Holliday. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2000, at Morton and Johnston Funeral Home in Benton, with Pastor Rod Joplin officiating. Burial will be in the Masonic and Oddfellows Cemetery in Benton. Friends may call from 11 am. until the funeral hour Tuesday at the funeral home.
