Newsletter for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Back or Bach families in America. Some focus is on the descendants of Erich Bach (born ca. 1540) who lived in Freudenberg, Germany. One of Erich's 3rd great-grandsons was Hermann Bach (1708-1799). Hermann married Anna Margartha Hausmann in 1737, and immigrated to Virginia ca. 1738. Hermann Bach's name was changed to Harman Back in America. He died in Garrard County, Kentucky, in 1799. Descendants of these and other Back and Bach families also lived in Alabama, Alaska, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington, Washington D.C., West Virginia, Wisconsin, and elsewhere.
