Chiefly a record of some of the descendants of Thomas Disbrow. He immigrated from England to America in 1677. He married Mercy Holbridge Nichols. They lived in Fairfield, Connecticut. Thomas deid in 1707. They were the parents of at least two children. Descendants lived in Illinois and elsewhere. The Hufmaster and Wentworth families married into the Disborw line.

Also includes a record of some of the descendants of Benjamin Alsup. He came from England to Charles City County, Virginia in 1658 as an indentured person to Howell Pryse. He was the father of at least two children. His son William was in Henrico County, Virginia in 1723 when he purchased land in Hanover County, Virginia. The family moves west via the Shenandoah Valley, Cumberland Gap, Kentucky, Indiana, stopping in Illinois. The Collings, Richey and Wachter families married into the Alsup family. Descendants lived in Virginia, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana and elsewhere.
