Do you have an ancestor who served in World War I? This presentation from RootsTech 2018 can help you understand some of the most valuable records about your World War I ancestors as well as historical context about when and why these records were created. FamilySearch has a collection of draft registration cards, including records for more than 24 million American men. You can also find discharge records, published unit histories, burial records, newspaper clippings, and many other types of records that give a glimpse into your ancestor’s military service.
