FamilySearch works with a variety of partners to help provide you with as many ways as possible to find, add, and share information about your family, and we are pleased to announce that the following products or services are now compatible with FamilySearch. “Compatible” means the product interfaces with and has features that conform to our strict standards of quality.





One Page Genealogy (web)

One Page Genealogy is now read compatible with FamilySearch. This service offers a free family history chart viewer and editor. It was created by BYU Family History Technology Lab, the makers of RelativeFinder and Virtual Pedigree.




Konica Minolta bizhub Connector (specific scanner/printers)

Konica Minolta bizhub Connector is now read and write compatible with FamilySearch. Konica Minolta’s bizhub Connector for FamilySearch app provides you with seamless access to the FamilySearch website for quick and easy scanning and uploading of treasured family memories. With a few taps of the button at the MFP, you can log into your FamilySearch account and begin digitally storing and preserving your historical photos and notable documents. The app also allows you to enter a specific person ID to automatically associate photos and documents with the appropriate person in your family tree as well as enter other identifying information including titles and descriptionsMultiple-page original documents can easily be scanned in using the bizhub MFP’s automatic document feeder. With the bizhub Connector for FamilySearch app, you can use your bizhub MFP to make sure your family history is preserved and cherished.

  1. I am sorry that I am very grumpy right now so I might come across rather uptight. I am uptight. I have just spent the better part of an hour trying to find two things, on this web sight without success. It seems to happen to me when I come to the family Search site. Question 1. Where can I find the list of Family Search Partners so that I can direct people to them so they can sign up for their free membership? The 2nd question: Where can I find the Find-Take-Teach video that shows a fellow guiding his sister in law thru the process. I have looked thru every link on this page. nada! I have looked at the site map, no help there. Really guys, who designed this site? It is so frustrating to use on so many levels.

    1. There is a link at the bottom called “app gallery.” That should contain many of the partner sites and products. There is also this link that will help people sign up with partner sites: Is this what you were looking for? As for the video, you will probably need to look on for that one.

      1. I think a link to the partner access on family search would be great also. I’ve had the same problem trying to find where to sign up for the partner access many times I was glad I had saved the link in my email account to find it.

  2. Is there a program that will allow me to move my family search information to the program so that I don’t have to worry about other people changing my information? I just don’t think I could type up all the names, etc. into another program. I love family search and use it almost every day, but I would love to have another program for my own information. Thank you.

    1. RootsMagic is a stand alone program that syncs with FS. They have a free trial program called RootsMagic Essentials where you can “test drive” (but not sync with FS) full cost of the program is $29.00.
      And, I am not affiliated with or an employee of RootsMagic.

    1. Select the “Get Help” link in the top right corner of any page on FamilySearch. You will be able to search for an answer there. There are some good articles on transferring GEDCOMs.

  3. I am attempting to link Family Tree with acct. I have signed into both using and LDS acct. logins and when i click on in the “partners”site I get a message that I “do not qualify for this offer” Am I doing something wrong?

    1. It might be best to contact support with this questions so they can better understand the situation and walk you through a solution.

  4. I need to sync my RootsMagic files and my Family Search files. Please help? Is it possible to sync Family Search files with files? Thanks!
