Non-English Indexing Help Urgently Needed

July 7, 2015  - by

Do you have skills in a language other than English, or are you willing to learn to index records in other languages? Help “Fuel the Find” worldwide.

“Fuel the Find”

FamilySearch.org offers 20 times more searchable records in English than in all other languages combined. You can help change this ratio. If you are fluent in a non-English language, you can make a big difference. Every name you index adds another drop of precious fuel to power FamilySearch’s ability to connect people with their ancestors.

Special Projects Available

Projects have been reserved in French, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish. Simple training guides have been prepared to help you get started, and training videos will soon be available.
