I’m looking for birth parents record for my ggg grandfather Alvin H. Davis, b. in Union, Tioga Co. (now Broome Co.), New York on 1 May 1797, d. 4 Nov. 1836 in Bedford, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio. I have complete info from his life in Ohio including that of his wife Lavinia Seeley and their children. I found Ephraim Davis b. 11 Oct 1772 in Falmouth, Mass., d. abt 1822 in Union, Broome Co., NY. who may be Alvin’s father. Ephraim also had a brother Rowland (or Roland?) and they appear together in the 1800 Census. I can’t find Ephraim marriage record or his first wife’s name.

Thanks you for making these records available. I have found my grandparents marriage records. I would be interested in knowing if records for Convents are available. Kimberley South Africa in the late 1800’s when diamonds were discovered. My grandmother often said she grew up in a convent. Her name was Betsy Jane Banks also known as Betty Jane Banks or Betsy Banks.
