The Global Family Reunion is a concept created by A. J. Jacobs, author of four New York Times bestsellers. You may have seen his humorous presentation at RootsTech 2015. Jacobs’ interest in genealogy began when he received an email from a distant cousin. Since then he has been on a quest to build the world’s family tree and meet as many of his cousins as possible and invite them to the Global Family Reunion in New York. Along with the main event, many branch parties are being held around the world. The Global Family Reunion block party at the Family History Library is one of those branch parties. 1. Great message for all the world, especially as we remember “D” Day of World Warr II. We ARE all cousins, aren’t we?
