FamilySearch Library Events along the Wasatch Front

FamilySearch will now be sending updates in our monthly newsletter about upcoming events at the Family History Centers along the Wasatch Front.  Along with class schedules, special events will be posted, along with any other news about local events that may be of interest to you.

Below you can click links to see the following Family History Library class schedules, as well as other upcoming events:

BYU Family History Library Class Schedule

  • Every 2nd and 4th Sunday at 3:00pm there is a tour of the Library, as well as an overview of some Family History basics
  • Missionary support is available every 2nd and 4th Sunday from 10:00 a.m.-7:15 p.m.
  • Free Family History classes are offered every 2nd and 4th Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Click here for more information

Riverton FamilySearch Library Class Schedule

  • Each Tuesday there are basic language lessons to be able to index in different languages. Check the schedule for possible changes in schedule.
  • Each 3rd Saturday of the month a “Saturday Seminar” is offered at 9:00 a.m. Click here for more information.

  1. The Ogden FamilySearch Library is hosting a free major family history conference at Weber State University’s Shepard Union Building on September 12th. Keynote speakers at 8:30 are Marlin and Kathy Jensen. There will be over 65 free classes from 10 AM to 4 Pm, a vendor hall, one on one help with research, and free parking anywhere except a specially marked parking space.
