Everyone who attends the Roots Tech Conference in Salt Lake City knows the importance of family history. The problem lies in the fact that a good portion of our family history is in an easy-to-destroy paper format. The mission of of EZ Photo Scan, Kodak Alaris, and Association of Professional Organizers is to put an end to losing your family’s precious memories. By bringing your photo collections and books of genealogical information to the EZ Scan Photo booth, you have the opportunity to scan these precious memories and preserve your family’s story, absolutely free.
E-Z Photo Scan has assembled a team of photo organizing and scanning professionals to be readily available during RootsTech 2015, as part of this interactive experience. They will be able to help answer questions about organizing your collection of photos or treasured documents and get you started scanning them. Kodak Picture Saver Scanners, designed specifically by Kodak Alaris, will be distributed throughout a number of locations in the Expo Hall. This equipment can digitize photos at both high-quality and high-speed, scanning up to 80 photos per minute.
Bring your collection of photos and treasured documents to E-Z Photo Scan’s Scanning Hub, booth 1343. There you can organize and scan your collection using one of hub’s many scanning stations. Other Kodak Picture Saver Scanners will also be distributed throughout the Expo Hall at FamilySearch Digiziation , booth 1543 and Scannx, Inc., booth 1525.
Besides your books and photos, be sure to pack a couple of USB Flash Drives with enough capacity to store your digitized collections.
