About the Los Angeles Family History Library  (LAFHL)

After a two year renovation and addition, the Los Angeles Family History Library reopened 25 October 2010.  Changes include 108 research computers, two training rooms and a conference room.  Two of the new rooms have teleconferencing capabilites.

The library has 6,000 books,  60,000 microfilms  plus 72,000 microfiches.  The church now has an online order process (https://www.familysearch.org/films/) you can use anywhere there is an internet outlet for the microfilm/microfiche not in our inventory

Family history research training is provided to help patrons in their personal searching efforts.  Free parking is provided.
