The Reviewer role
One of the responsibilities of the Wiki Support Team involves Role Management, which includes the role of Reviewer.
Reviewers for the wiki content will come and go. The Reviewer role assigned to the users will need to be changed accordingly. See for documentation related to the Reviewer role. Pages in the wiki related the reviewer role include:
Steps to be followed when a request is received from someone wishing to be a Reviewer
The following questions could be asked to help evaluate if they are capable to fill the role:- Name
- User name
- Why does the contributor need Reviewer rights?
- What have they contributed to the Wiki?
You will need to verify:
- That they are trustworthy
- That they are willing to go over the policy for uploading images and abide by the policies.
After verifying that the requestor should have the rights, you will need to go over the process of uploading images and files, the information templates, and licensing page.
If the person seems to be capable, forward the information to Lynda Avery, so that she can follow up and contact the patron. She will follow up with them, add them to the Moderator page and forward instructions and links to them.
