Institutions
Census population schedules for jails, hospitals, poor houses or farms, and insane asylums were often placed near the end of the rest of the regular population scheules for a county. For a few census years the institutions are on separate rolls of microfilm. The same was done with schedules for American Indians, forts and military bases.
