Southeast Asia has been inhabited for more than half a million years. Archaeological studies suggest that by 4000 BC, communities in what is now Thailand had emerged as centers of early bronze metallurgy. This development, along with the cultivation of wet rice, provided the impetus for social and political organization. Research suggests that these innovations may actually have been transmitted from there to the rest of Asia, including to China.

The Thai are related linguistically to Tai groups originating in southern China. Migrations from southern China to Southeast Asia may have occurred in the 6th and 7th centuries. Malay, Mon, and Khmer civilizations flourished in the region prior to the arrival of the ethnic Tai.

Thais date the founding of their nation to the 13th century.

• 3.บันทึกในรูปของหนังสือ พบได้ในแหล่งค้นคว้าเช่น หอสมุดแห่งชาติ, หอสมุดของมหาวิทยาลัย เป็นต้น
• 4.เว็บไซต์สาธารณะ เช่น สารานุกรมวิกิพีเดีย หรือเข้าไปค้นหาในเซิอร์ชเอนจินของกูเกิล

บันทึกที่สาธารณะชนสามารถใช้เป็นแหล่งค้นหาได้ขณะนี้จะอยู่ในข้อ 3 และ 4 (จากข้างบน) ซึ่งส่วนใหญ่จะเป็นบันทึกเชื้อสายวงศ์สกุลของระดับผู้นำหรือผู้ที่มีบทบาททางสังคมในอดีต กระนั้นก็ตามบรรพบุรุษเหล่านั้นเป็นต้นกำเนิดของหลายๆนามสกุลไนประเทศไทย จึงได้มีการพยายามรวบรวมรายชื่อคนเหล่านั้นเก็บไว้ในที่เดียวกันในรูปของ Family Tree (ซึ่งเป็นโปรแกรมออนไลน์อยู่ในเว็บไซต์ https://familysearch.org/tree/ )

Find other ancestors of Thailand

The genealogy records of Thailand will make the descendants aware that where their ancestors originated, or who have a branch of kinship that tie children to it. These records are valuable and should be disclosed for the purpose of ascertaining of the next generations. The records of the dead of Thailand stored by the following;

• 1. The death certificate, stored in the Government agencies.
• 2. The records are made by each family, stored in their family.
• 3. Recorded in the books, found in such research; the Public Library,The University Library.
• 4. Public encyclopedias such as Wikipedia or to search in the search engines of Google.

Currently, the records that the public can take a while to find them are in section 3 and 4 (from above), which is mostly genealogy records of leadership or who have a social role in the past. Yet they are the roots of many fathers last name of Thai people. We have tried to compile a list of those stored in the same place in the Family Tree ( which is an online site; https://familysearch.org/tree/ ).
