This is a documentation subpage for Template:Details (see that page for the template itself). It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

{{Details}} is used to make summary style explicit.

Usage

Use in a section for which there is also a separate article on the subject.

Markup

{{details|article|on}}

• article is the name of an article with more detail on the subject. For example, {{details|cats}} generates:

For more details on this topic, see cats.

• on is optional and replaces the phrase "this topic" with the specified text. For example, {{details|cats|felines}} generates:

For more details on felines, see cats.
