Known Issues

NOTE: For a way to determine what digital records are likely to be found within a collection or how to find missing images elsewhere, see Document 114052, How to use Film Notes in the Catalog to determine the content of a final browse point in Historical Records.

Question: The Event Type and Year Range (browse point) title does not properly reflect the actual digital record content. Is there a way to determine what digital records are likely to be found within a collection?
Answer: The following list of known browse point discrepancies describes the event type or year range that actually exist in this collection:

  • Burgos > Nuestra Señora de Loreto > Matrimonios 1750-1917 contains Bautismos 1750-1765 in Item 15.
  • Matamoros > Nuestra Señora del Refugio > Bautismos 1800-1854 should be Bautismos 1800-1856
  • Nueva Ciudad Guerrero > Nuestra Señora del Refugio > Información matrimonial 1876-1895, 1912, 1917, 1883-1885, 1911-1918, 1915-1919 Bautismos, defunciones 1894, 1860-1863, 1915-1919 Padrones 1780-1828 also contains marriage records for the years 1860-1892, 1894, and other miscellaneous years in Item 5, Images 534-621.
  • Nueva Ciudad Guerrero > Nuestra Señora del Refugio > Información matrimonial 1810-1876 is a combination of both Films 1511728 and 1511729 and therefore, the image set contains 6071 records.
