These baptism records usually contain the following information:

• Date and place of baptism
• Name of child
• Date and place of birth
• Age and gender of child
• Legitimacy
• Parents' names and their origin or residence
• Godparents' names
• Witness’s name

These confirmation records usually contain the following information:

• Date and place of confirmation
• Child's name
• Names of parents
• Names of godparents

These marriage records usually contain the following information:

• Date and place of marriage
• Names of the bride and groom
• Groom's age, civil status, origin and residence
• Names of groom's parents
• Bride's age, civil status, origin and residence
• Names of bride's parents
• Names of witnesses

These death records usually contain the following information:

• Name and age of deceased
• Date and place of death
• Cause of death
• Marital status of deceased
• Name of spouse, if married

How to Use the Records

To search the records using the index: Fill in the requested information in the initial search page. This search will return a list of possible matches. Compare the information about the ancestors in the list to what you already know about your ancestors to determine if this is the correct family or person. You may need to compare the information about more than one person to find your ancestor.

⇒Select the "Tipo de Registro y Años" category which takes you to the images

Look at the images one by one comparing the information with what you already know about your ancestors to determine which one is your ancestor. You may need to compare the information about more than one person to make this determination.
