Back to New York to Pennsylvania
These two paths followed the Lackawanna River for forty miles. Then Lehigh Path helped to connect New York to Western Pennsylvania. Being part of what now is called the Delaware and Lehigh National Heritage Corridor which covers 165 miles across five Pennsylvania counties. Lackawanna River Heritage Trail, present name of the Lackawanna Path was 70+ Miles and followed the New York State border to Susquehanna River at Pittston, Pennsylvania.
