History
In 1918 a few families settled in the Kuna Valley. The settlers came to farm the land around Kuna. Kuna was a station on the Oregon Short Line Railroad. A stage coach line ran a regular schedule between the mining camp at Silver City and the mining camp at Idaho City. Total population of the Kuna Precinct was 1,547 in 1930.
