Parent County
1851--Old Humboldt County was established 15 January 1851 from unorganized territory. It was attached to Boone County and abolished 24 January 1855 and absorbed by Kossuth and Webster Counties.
1857-- Present-day Humboldt County was established 31 August 1857 from Kossuth and Webster Counties.
