	This page explains a policy, a widely accepted standard that all contributors should normally follow. Changes made to it should reflect consensus.

The addition of the third and fourth levels in this taxonomy is a work in progress

This article sets out the common taxonomy to be used in the FamilySearch Wiki. Appling a common taxonomy as the way to structure topics and Categories are used, will result in a consistent approach that will enable users to navigate topics much easier than if this was done in a haphazard manner.
