Mediation is a process that can be requested by authors to help them resolve disputes about article content. If authors cannot resolve conflicts related to article content with the help of a mediator, authors can request arbitration. However, authors are highly encouraged to resolve conflicts on their own. The Etiquette Guidelines will help all users understand how to avoid conflicts by following the suggested best practices when contributing to the wiki.
If the conflict is related to user conduct that is in conflict with the Civility and Polite Discourse policy, the issue will be handled through the Arbitration process.
