- The conversion of Portal pages to un-Portal pages has stopped. We do not have anyone to help us with that project. Are there any volunteers? We Need YOU!!! --Fran 20:55, 8 December 2009 (UTC)
- Help:How to Create an Un-Portal Page
- I have created a project page for the purpose of tracking the conversion of all portal pages. If you would like to help with this project, please feel free to sign up as a volunteer. I have not created a list that shows the status of the conversion of portal pages, so if anyone would like to help with the creation of the list, that would also be a great help!!! Any and all help with this project is most welcome! -Fran 20:49, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
- Dianne Loosle will be attending our meeting next week! --Fran 21:05, 8 December 2009 (UTC)

Replace functionality in extension
I am unable to attend again due to another conflict. So, I would appreciate it if someone would take notes. What is the status of the #Replace: functionality requested? This functionality is achieved through the StringFunctions within the ParserFunctions . . . may need an upgrade to ParserFunctions and definitely enable them. I know that I have requested this quite a while back and believe Steve has as well. Here are some links to information about requests:
- Forum
- !7 Nov Meeting
- 15 Dec meeting: Q & A section (includes CottrellS's CaseID:1304647) & FHLC linking with template? section
- Wpd template
- CottrellS discussion
- Manual of Style
- FHL template discussion
- My e-mail (CaseID:1302967) on 10Oct to support requesting the extension that is needed for more than one template on the Research Wiki . . . this includes a consensus reached by the community in a community meeting as part of the Manual of Style. Upon further investigation, I found it is possible that we already have that extension installed. It is part of the ParserFunctions Extension. I know that extension is already installed, but I am not sure which revision. If it is r50997 or later, it just would need to be enabled. Unfortunately, the version page does not show all of the revision information. Any chance of that being fixed too? If we do not have r50997 of the ParserFunctions, we probably would have to upgrade that and hopefully it would be a simple process.

- I didn't know anything about the request until I reviewed all the agenda notes from the meetings held in the third quarter. It will take me a few days to track this down. I hope to know the answer by next week. Fran 20:42, 8 December 2009 (UTC)
has a problem adding delete template
Has anyone encountered this odd problem?
When I go to Clemency, Luxembourg page, I tried to edit it but it kept switching to Clemency Commune, Luxembourg. No way to go back in order to break redirect and add delete template there. The old page is quite old. Contents were added to new page. dsammy 21:12, 8 December 2009 (UTC)
