This category is for pages about specific societies. When the number of pages included becomes to large then pages should be sorted into sub-categories grouped by jurisdiction.

Generally the category is applied to an article when it is created using the {{Societies}} template. The category can also be added manually.

Articles that provide a list of societies should not be added to this category. These articles should be added to the specific category for the jurisdiction concerned.
