British Columbia, Canada directories from 1860 to 1915 are available free on-line at the Vancouver Public Library's British Columbia City Directories website.

  • Search Directory listings for the cities of Nanaimo and Victoria for 1882, 1892 and 1902 (see viHistory:Directory)


Many British Columbia directories up to and including 1900 are available on the following microfiche:

  • Pre-1900 Canadian Directories. Ottawa, Ontario: Canadian Institute for Historical Microreproductions, 1988. (On 4219 Family History Library fiche beginning with fiche 6360453. These fiche do not circulate to Family History Centers.)
