Overseas territory of the United Kingdom. Island group in the Leeward Islands in the West Indies. On the northeast edge of the Caribbean Sea, Anguilla helps separate that sea from the North Atlantic Ocean. About 175 miles (300 kilometers) east of Puerto Rico, north of St. Kitts and Nevis.
