History
Wendell is a station on the Rupert-Bliss cutoff (a branch of the Oregon Short line Railroad). Wendell is surrounded by a rich farming district; it is 15 miles northwest of Jerome, and about15 miles south of Gooding. In 1918 a few families resided in Wendell.
