Lori Thornton is Associate Professor of Library Services, Technical Services Librarian, at Carson-Newman College. She is also a genealogist, researching primarily in the Southern, Midwestern, and New England States. She has spoken for genealogical events at the local, state, and national levels.


  • Lori, thanks for your hard work on the Farm Magazine and Journal page.  It looks really good.  May I suggest putting the magazines and journals under headings to specific states? As a user specialist, I have noticed people get easily confused, so if there is a particular state they are interested in researching and they can just click the information for the state it is easier for them to use.  Just a suggestion....maybe talk to Mark about his thoughts.  Thanks again!
