I live in Silicon Valley, known somtimes as Silli Valli, and am a technical copyeditor (proofreader, to most people, but that is really another function). I was born in Baton Rouge and wish to be followed to my grave by a brass band. I was raised in Fort Collins, Colorado, for the most part, and have lived in a lot of places, including the Maritimes in Canada. My interest in genealogy goes back a good fifty years and is centered on family in North Carolina and Missouri, but extends thence to Kentucky, Virginia, and South Carolina, then further to Pennsylvania and Germany and the British Isles. It goes on and on. Genealogy is like that.
