For 18 months, I was a FamilySearch missionary, working with the indexing program. During the last few months of that time, I was involved in creating Wiki pages for many of the indexing projects. This has been a great learning experience that has given me an insight into the importance of the Wiki. I now am involved with the Wiki team, full-time, on the Support team, and I am excited about learning more about the Wiki and its functions.
I love family history work. At this point, I don't have much time for personal research, but one day, I will be able to spend more time doing that. A love of family history work came to me from my grandmother, who spent countless hours doing her research before the days of computers. She taught herself to type to help speed up the work.
As I work daily with the Wiki, now, I am constantly amazed at the wealth of information there is here. This is a wonderful resource for anyone who is doing family history research.
